Write an equation in slope intercept form of the line passes through the given point and it's parallel to the graph of the given equation

(2,-1) ; y= -3/2x+6

Y=-3/2x+1

since you want parallel the slope is -3/2.
put your slope and point into point slope form,
y-(-1) = -3/2(x-2) and solve for slope intercept,
y+1 = -3/2x+3
y = -3/2x+2
