x^3-2x^2-5x+6

Explanation:

(x-3)(x-1)

(x^2-x-3x+3)(x+2)

x^3+2x^2-4x^2-8x+3x +6

now combine like terms

-8x + 3x = 5x

2x^2-4x^2= -2x^2
