Explanation:

The given system of equations :


3x+4y=16.............................(1)\\\\-4x-3y=-19...........................(2)

Multiplying equation (1) by 4 and equation (2) by 3 we get,


12x+16y=64.............................(3)\\\\-12x-9y=-57...........................(4)

Add (3) and (4), we get


7y=7\\\\\Rightarrow\ y=1

Substitute y=1 in (1), we get


3x+4(1)=16\\\\\Rightarrow\ 3x=12\\\\\Rightarrow x=4

Hence, the solution of the given system = (4,1)
