Is this correct? I had to write an equation in point-slope form and slope-intercept form for each line.

1. (1,9) : slope = 2

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
slope(m) = 2
(1,9)...x1 = 1 and y1 = 9
now we sub
y - 9 = 2(x - 1) <=== point slope form

y - 9 = 2(x - 1)
y - 9 = 2x - 2
y = 2x - 2 + 9
y = 2x + 7 <== slope intercept form
===========================
3. (-4,-5) : slope = 3/4

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
slope(m) = 3/4
(-4,-5)....x1 = -4 and y1 = -5
now we sub...but pay very close attention to ur signs....
y - (-5) = 3/4(x - (-4)...not done yet
y + 5 = 3/4(x + 4) <=== point slope form

y + 5 = 3/4(x + 4)
y + 5 = 3/4x + 3
y = 3/4x + 3 - 5
y = 3/4x - 2 <== slope intercept form
