density is mass/volume or g/cm^3 in this case
vpyramid=(1/3)lwh
given
l=6
w=5
h=8
V=(1/3)6*5*8
V=2*40
V=80cm^3

mass=40g

density=40g/80cm^3=0.5g/cm^3
0.5 grams per cm^3 is the density

Density is mass
volume
With those dimensions, the volume of the pyramid is;
V = lw(h/3)
V = (5)(6)(8/3)
V = 80 cm^3

D = 40 g = 1 g/cm^3
80 cm^3
