Now that we have been on ICD-10, what is the timeframe for moving to ICD-11? Do you think this will be delayed as was ICD-10? Do you think we should move to ICD-11 next year?

ICD is currently under revision. This system has been in use since 1948.

The ICD is the international standard of finding reports and diseases and health condition. Currently the ICD still has not been adopted in the U.S which will be here for the 15-20 years. Yes it will be a delay for the ICD 11 Code Which they are still in the process of dealing with the adopted of ICD 10. The CMS plays a big roll in ICD. I ffel that ICD-11 should wait because they are still getting familiar with the ICD 10 and need to gain experience with the ICD-10 before bringing on ICD-11.
