Rome weakened Etruria in a war and took over the different parts of Italy.

The Romans took advantage over the Etruscans after they were weakened during war. In 100 years, Rome took over all of Etruria, central Italy, and Northern Italy. At 275 BCE, they ruled over Italy completely.
