The answers is Lutenizing hormone. The hormone is produced by the pituitary gland. It's is significant for the development of corpeus luteum after the release of the ovum from the graafian follicle. The corpeus luteum is responsible for maintenance of pregnancy in case of conception. LH is preceed FSH hormone that ensures development of a mature ovum in the follicles.
