-6 < -2x < 14

We're trying to solve for x. To solve for x, we must isolate x.

So, let's divide everything by -2!

-6 ÷ -2 < -2x ÷ -2 < 14 ÷ -2

**Remember : when dividing by a negative number, you MUST switch the sign! So, if the sign is ">" then we switch it to "<" and the other way around **

3 > x > -7

So, our answer is : → 3 > x > -7
