1. You have that threctangular prism has the following dimensions: Its length is 18 cm, its width is 6 cm, and its height is 3 cm.

2. Then, you must apply the formula for calculate the surface area of a rectangular prism, which is:

SA=2(WL+HL+HW)

Where SA is the surface area of the rectangular prism, L is the lenght, W is the width and H is the height.

3. Therefore, when you susbtitute values into the formula shown above, you obtain:

SA=2(WL+HL+HW)

L=18 cm
W=6 cm
H=3 cm

SA=2[(6 cm)(18 cm)+(3 cm)(18 cm)+(3 cm)(6 cm)]
