Solution:

Radius of cylindrical soup can= 3.5 cm

Height of cylindrical soup can= 6 cm

Area of cylinder =2πrh

So, Area of label of cylindrical soup can=2πrh

Plugging in the value of r and h in the formula

Area of label=2*π*3.5*6

Multiplying the constants, we get

Area=2*π*21

Area=42π

Plugging in the value of π

Area=42*
(22)/(7)

Multiplying the numerators

Area=
(924)/(7)

Area=132 sq.cm

Answer: Option (C)

Area of label= 132 sq. cm
