The perimeter of this hexagon is
(x-6) + (x-6) + ... = 6(x-6) = P
The perimeter is equal to 78. P = 78, so create the equation
78 = 6(x - 6)
78 = 6(x - 6)
13 = x - 6
x = 19
The answer to this question is x = 19.
