The calculated length of the red arc is 4.71 units

Finding the length of arc DF

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

Central angle = 30 degrees

Radius = 9 meters

Using the above as a guide, we have the following:

Arc length = central angle/180 * 3.14 * Radius

Substitute the known values in the above equation, so, we have the following representation

Arc length = 30/180 * 3.14 * 9

Evaluate

Arc length = 4.71

Hence, the length of the arc is 4.71 meters

Given that the radius is 9m and the angle subtended by the arc is 30°, then the arc length will be:
length=θ/360πd
length=30/360π(2*9)
length=1.5π
