Hi there!

- 4x - 11 = 2(x - 3x) + 13
First we work out the parenthesis.

- 4x - 11 = 2x - 6x + 13
Collect terms.

- 4x - 11 = - 4x + 13
Add 11 to both sides of the equation.

- 4x = - 4x + 24
Now we can conclude that this equation does not have any solutions, because the right side of the equation will always be 24 bigger. There are no values of x that make the equation true.
