X is not 4
The correct answer would be x=-2
2x+1+3=0
2x+4=0
-4 -4
2x= -4
2 2
X=-2

Hope this helps!

False !

If
x=4:

√(2(4)+1+3)= √(12)\\\\√(12)\\eq0

In fact, the true answer is
x=-2

√(2x+1+3)=0\\\\√(2x+4)=0\\\\2x+4=0\\2x=-4\\x=-2
