Find out the volume of a cylinder .

To prove

Formula

$Volume\ of\ cylinder = \pi r^(2)h$

Where r is the radius and h is the height.

As given

Diameter of 12 in. and a height of 7 in.

Radius = (Diameter)/(2)

Radius = (12)/(2)

Radius = 6 in

$\pi = 3.14$

put all the values in the formula

$Volume\ of\ cylinder = 3.14* 6* 6* 7$

= 791.28 in³

Therefore the volume of the cylinder is 791 .28 in³ .
