Convert everything to inches.
4 ft × 12 = 48 in
2 yds × 36 = 72 in
Multiply 48 × 22 × 72 = 76032.
The volume of the cage is 76,032 in³.

Step One
Convert all the non inch measurements to inches.
4 feet [ 12 inches / 1 foot] = 48 inches [The feet as units cancel]
22 inches = 22 inches. No conversion needed.
2 yards [ 3 feet / yard ] * [ 12 inches / foot ] = 72 inches.
Step Two
Find the volume
V = L * W * H
V = 48 * 22 * 72
V = 76032 cubic inches. <<<<<<
