Simplify the square root of 864.
I cant remember this, please tell me how you got the answer.

`√(864)`

`√(4 * 216)`

`√(4 * 4 * 54)`

`√(4 * 4 * 2 * 27)`

`√(4 * 4 * 2 * 9 * 3)`
now take out the pairs.

`4 √(2 * 9 * 3)`
take out any of the square roots like 9

`4 * 3 √(2 * 3)`
Now put it all back together.

`12 √(6)`
I believe that is the answer.
