Equilateral triangle ABC has a perimeter of 96 millimeters. A perpendicular bisector is drawn from angle A to side BC at point M. What is the length of MC?

There is an equilateral triangle which has a perimeter of 96 milimeters.

As we know the formula for "Perimeter of equilateral triangle "


Perimeter=3* Side\\\\96=3* Side\\\\(96)/(3)=Side\\\\32\ milimeter=Side

Since a perpendicular bisector is drawn from angle A to side BC at point M.

As we know that perpendicular bisector divide the line segment into two equal parts .

So, Length of MC will be


(32)/(2)=16\ milimeter

Hence, Length of MC is 16 milimeters.
