This answer is actually simpler than it seems.
First you would want to separate the parts that are uneven with the whole shape, such as the two square jotting out.
Both of these squares have the length and width of 3, this both square are 9, leaving us with the answer of 18 for the first part.
(You would need to add all answers together in the end.)
Finally onto the huge shape, which has the length of 10 and the width of 5, which means the answer is 50 for the rectangle.
Add what you got from the squares, and you would be left with an area of 68 units squared.
