(fg)(x)=f(x)\cdot g(x)

The limit of a product is the same as the product of limits:

\displaystyle\lim_(x\to-9)(fg)(x)=\lim_(x\to-9)f(x)\cdot\lim_(x\to-9)g(x)=-1\cdot-3=3

so the answer is A.
