In this situation, x = 666.6666...the six goes on forever. Another way you could write this is 2000/3. How did I get this? First, multiply 1200 by 20, and then divide by 36! Hope this helps!

20/36 = x/1,200
Cross multiply.
36 × x and 20 × 1,200
36x = 24,000
x = 666.67
x equals 667, or 666.67.
