Let's represent the ratio in variable form:
4n + 5n = 450
9n = 450
n = 50
Now we multiply into the ratio:
200:250
Or
200 and 250

4 : 5 → 4 + 5 = 9

450 : 9 = 50

4 · 50 = 200
5 · 50 = 250

Answer: 200 and 250.
