Hello!

The domain is the numbers that makes the function real

If we put x as 4 we get an undefined answer since you can't divide by 0

From this the domain is 4 > x < 4

Hope this helps!

Answer:

Domain (-∞,4)U(4,∞)

Explanation:

Inmagine functions as little machines that turn one number into another, the domain would the numbers that we can enter to the machine so we would have a real number on the output of it.

In this specific case we can use all the numbers but 4 because if we make
x=4 we would have
(12)/(4-4)=(12)/(0) and this is an indeterminate form which won't be solution to the problem.

According to the explanation our domain would be all the numbers but 4 like this:

Domain (-∞,4)U(4,∞)
