Developing countries consume approximately 60% of the world's fossil fuels. Besides China and Russia, India is one of the biggest consumers. Most consumed fossil fuel is oil, followed by coal and natural gas. Many developing countries are making an effort to put in place regulation that would decrease the use of fossil fuels.
