Lancelot is often seen as a knight in shining armor and handsome beyond measure. This is what a woman would enjoy having around such as being a sterotype or type of charcter used.

The correct answer should be - In the mythical tradition, Lancelot is often a catalyst for women who cave to temptation.
Lancelot is obviously a heartthrob given that most women fall for him - the most famous of which is of course King Arthur's wife, Guinevere. Tennyson included Lancelot as a temptation for Lady of Shalott - he wanted to test her resolve to stay in the tower, however, she failed because she fell in love with Lancelot, and therefore she died due to her curse.
