Given the function:
f(x)=6x³-35x²+26x-5
to get the zeros we need to factorize the polynomial given:
to factorize we look for a number such that when we substitute in the equation we get a zero:
first number is:
x=5
thus:
to get the rest of the number we shall have:
(6x³-35x²+26x-5)÷(x-5)
=(3x-1)(2x-1)
thus the other roots are:
x=1/3 and x=1/2
hence the answer will be:
C. 5, one third, negative one half
