To find the height of the tree, you can create a proportion with the information that is given and solve for the height.
Heights:

5 feet
Base Lengths: 154 feet 14 feet
14x
=
770
14 14
x = 55 feet

For this case we have the following relationship using similarity of triangles:
(x / 154) = (5/14)
Clearing the value of x we have:
x = (5/14) * (154)
Rewriting we have:
x = 55 feet
Answer:
the height of the tree is:
x = 55 feet
