Hello!

You can put down all the single digits that add to 12

3 + 9 = 12
4 + 8 = 12
5 + 7 = 12
6 + 6 = 12

The possible numbers are 39, 48, 57, or 66

You flip all the numbers and find out if it goes up by 36

93 - 39 = 54

It is not 39

84 - 48 = 36

Since it went up by 36 the answer is 48

The answer is 48

Hope this helps!
