Read this paragraph.

Derek entered Room 101 and asked the teacher if he was in the right place for his drivers’ education class. When the teacher assured him that he was, Derek chose a textbook and a seat.

Which stage directions best represent the ideas in the paragraph?

Derek: [Entering classroom briskly; selecting a seat] May I please have a driver’s ed textbook?
Derek: [Entering classroom with hesitation; addressing the teacher] Is this drivers’ education?
Derek: [Entering classroom cheerfully; turning to a friend] So, are you ready to learn how to drive?
Derek: [Entering classroom gloomily; grabbing a textbook] I can’t believe I have to take this class

The stage directions that best represents the idea is when Derek briskly enters the room. This is the right direction because he is energetic and cheerful to be eligible for the driver's education class.
Hope this helped! :D
