yestarday isabel exercised 15 minutes longer than she exercised today. yesterday she exercised for 40 minutes. which equation can be used to find m the number of minutes Isabel exercised today?

40+15=x I think this is the answer sorry if its wrong

Let's use variables:
Y=amount of time Isabel exercised yesterday
T=amount of time Isabel exercised today
We know that:
L=40 and that L=T+15
Substituting we can say that:
40=T+15
Then, subtracting 15 from both sides:
40(-15)=T+15(-15)
T=25
