We need to find out the tax does he have to pay if he filed with the “single” status.

From the table, we look at the table where atleast income was $65,150. We should not consider the income that is less than 65,150.

We look at the tax amount given for single where income is atleast $65,150

$12,481 have to pay if he filed with the “single” status.
