Answer: My best guess? 3.2 Good luck :)

Explanation:

The mean is the amount of numbers aka 7 and the total of the numbers added together, 21. Divide to get 3 and you can order the number of students to 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 6. Outlier 6 so I was leaning towards 5.2 but if you look at the data next to each other Score 3, # of Students 6. SO I evidently got 3.2. Hope this helps.

Answer:

The correct option is 3.

Explanation:

The given table is

Score(x). Number of students(f)

0 2

1 1

2 3

3 6

4 2

5 3

6 2

The formula for mean is

Mean=(\sum fx)/(\sum f)

Mean=(0* 2+1* 1+2* 3+3* 6+4* 2+5* 3+6* 2)/(19)

Mean=(60)/(19)

Mean=3.1578

Mean\approx 3.2

The mean hockey score is 3.2, therefore the correct option is 3.
