The correct answer is D) the European Union has tariffs while NAFTA does not.

The statement that is not true is the European Union has tariffs while NAFTA does not.

Both agreements are considered very important in the modern world. The European Union has one currency for all of its members since 2001 and it is called the Euro. NAFTA was only a trade agreement between Mexico, Canada, and the United States. It was signed in 1993 and now it was restructured after an extended revision and negotiation by the three parts. NAFTA changed its name to USMCA, United States, Mexico, and Canada Agreement.
