The second one is the only equivalent equation. Simply plug in each variable in each equation. And compare!

Answer:

Option 2 is correct.

Explanation:

Given the expressions

\text{5m-3 and 2m+5+m}

\text{3m+4 and m+4+2m}

\text{2m+7 and 3m-3+m}

\text{5m+3 and 4m+2+2m}

we have to choose the option for which the expressions are equivalent when m=1 and m=4.

The substitution of values shown in table in attachment.

The only option 2 which gives the same values for m=1 and m=4 in both the expressions.

∴ Option 2 is correct.
