we know that
(16x6 − 12x4 + 4x2) / 4x2
is equal to
[16x6/4x2]+[-12x4/4x2]+[4x2/4x2]
=[4x4]+[-3x2]+[1]
=4x4-3x2+1
the answer is
4x4-3x2+1
