First, i had to find the distance between points a and c, so i first found the x and y distances. 4 - 2 = 2 and 2 - (-1) = 3 now we use are ratio and divide it by the x and y distances. 2(3/4) = 1.5 and 3(3/4) = 2.25 finally, we need to add y1 to 1.5 and y2 to 2.25, to get our (x,y) of q.
