First equation we make is 6c+2j=13

So I choose to do -18c+-6j=-39 (Multiplied by -3) so we can eliminate the 2 6js and get 4c=11 and -18c=-39. You then add the remaining equations together to get -14c=-28, so c=2. Using that we can then chose an equation to substitute c with. Ill choose the first one, so you get 6(2)+2j=13. 12+2j=13; 2j=1. By simplifying, you get the jawbreakers as .50 dollars.
