we have that
f(x)=2x²+7x-5
g(x)=-8x²-3x+5

g(x)+f(x)=[-8x²-3x+5]+ [2x²+7x-5]
=(-8x²+2x²)+(-3x+7x)+(5-5)
=-6x²+4x+0

the answer is
-6x²+4x
