A bundle of neuron axons (nerve fibres) together form a nerve tract inside the central nervous system. A bundle of neuron bodies (soma) form a ganglion (peripheral nervous system) or a nucleus (central nervous system). Nerve tract connects nuclei of the central nervous system.
