Experiment

Natural scientists typically use experimentation to control the setting and variables of their study. However, experimenting with human behavior becomes tricky ethically and the human is composed of many variables which is hard to control.

Ethnographic studies, observational studies in the real setting of people, give a truer sense of human behavior and prevent the censoring of behavior many people will do when they know they are being watched or experimented.

The sociologists study people and they tend to study data out in the field using “real-world settings” while natural scientists tend to perform experiments on living, non-living organisms and other natural things to get information about them.

The purpose of studying natural science is to understand the natural phenomena. The evidences of natural sciences are gathered from observation and experimentation.

Physical Science and Life sciences are two main branches of Natural Science. The tools from formal science such as mathematics and logics are used by Natural science to explain the statements of Law of Nature.
