1) mol fraction of gas X= 2/(6+2)=2/8=1/4
2) mol fraction of gas Y= 6/(6+2)=6/8=3/4
3) Partial pressure of X = 1/4*2.1 atm=0.53 atm
4) Partial pressure of Y = 3/4*2.1=1.6 atm
