Since they traveled 125 miles in 2.5 hours, divide
125 by 2.5 to find the rate...
You should get 50 mph
Now multiply
50 by 6
to find the number of miles traveled in 6 hours
= 300 miles in 6 hours

In order to find the distance you have to do 125 divide by 2.5 which equal 50. So he travel 50 mile per hour. And he travel for 6 hour, you have to do 6 x 50 = 300. 300 is the answer
