To find the how much is 15% of 8:
(15 x 8) ÷ 100
120 ÷ 100
1,2.
1,2 = 15% of 8.
To find the new price:
8 + 1,2 = 9,2
Hope it helped!

Given the cost of movie was increased by 15%
so desired result will be 8+8(15/100)
That gives you designed result of the ticket as 8+1.2=9.2
