Hadza people are the unique population living around Lake Eyasi, in northern Tanzania.
Culturally, they are notable by being the only population in East Africa who continues to rely extensively on hunting and gathering food for their survival.
Moving from place to place is an essential part of Hadza culture in order to find food and as a way to peacefully regulate social interactions. They are provided with a great freedom to live and enjoy intimate interactions which enables them to live safe.
