Read the following passage from “The Most Dangerous Game”: “’Oh,’ said the general, ‘I give him his option, of course. He need not play that game if he doesn’t wish to. If he does not wish to hunt, I turn him over to Ivan. Ivan once had the honor of serving as official knouter to the Great White Czar, and he has his own ideas of sport. Invariably, Mr. Rainsford, invariably they choose the hunt.’” What can readers infer from this passage? (1 point) that visitors enjoy playing the general’s game and are honored to have been chosen to participate that visitors who do not agree make plans to escape because they fear Ivan and the general that visitors are willing to take their chances in the hunt rather than be tortured by Ivan that visitors are tricked by the general into believing that they will not be hurt in the hunt

The the story "The most dangerous game", Ivan is this huge scary guy that looks like he could tear you to pieces, so most of the visitors though they would have a better chance to survive the hunt.
