The diameter of a basketball rim Is 18in. Standard basketball has a circumference of 30In. What is the distance between the ball and the rim in a shot in which the ball goes exactly in the center of the rim ?

well if the diameter of the rim is 18in then the radius is 14. So if the circumference is 30in then your answer will be 44, hope this helps!!
