(f + g)(x) = 2x + 7 + 6x – 5

// 2x + 6x = 8x
// 7 - 5 = 2

Therefore,
(f + g)(x) = 8x + 2

Answer: 8x + 2

It is 8x because you're adding them not multiplying them. If you were multiplying it would be8x^2
