Let y = -6x + 9 ...... ( 1 )

and y = -3x + 3 ....... ( 2 )


Putting the value of yin equation ( 2 )

-6 x + 9 = -3 x + 3

→ 3 ( -2 x + 3 ) = 3 ( - x + 1 )

→ -2x + x = 1 - 3


→ - x = - 2

→ x = 2

Now putting the value of x in equation ( 1 )

y = - 6 ( 2 ) + 9

y = -12 + 9

y = - 3
