Hi!

Answer: Because the Soviet way of life had been threatened by Hitler

According to Stalin, the USSR decided to go to war with Germany because war was forced upon them by Hitler as he was threatening the soviet way of life. Stalin saw Hitler as a great enemy and danger to the Soviet state and suggested soviets for goods and valuable property to be moved or destroyed to prevent enemy use
